Guys, would you be offended if a girl asked you if you liked her or if you thought she was just a call?

I've been kinda sorta seeing this guy now and we've gone out once and we're supposed to go out again, but whenever we meet for lunch or something all we do is have . We do a lot of talking too and he said that he was into me, but I get easily confused and I'm not sure if he's really interested. I don't like playing games and I don't want to offend him, but I'm pretty straightforward and upfront. Would you be offended if a girl asked a guy if he actually liked her or if he just thought of her as a call?
