Should the Orioles release their closer Mike Gonzalez?

I never understood why Orioles thought he would be effective in AL.As a NL fan, I watched him pitch quite a bit and he never was a clean finisher.You guys traded Shirille to us and went out and got the similiar guy.They don't have the stuff that can put away hitters when they don't have the good command.
