Is President Hugo Chavez of Venezuela a threat to the western hemisphere...Is a quarantine, embargo, etc., due?

This is a case of "we have met the enemy, and it is us!" The Russian stance here is due to the fact that the Bush administration wanted to ring Russia with missile systems that would shoot down incoming missiles, supposedly to defend Israel from Iranian missiles. The Russians were not quite so naive to fall for this. This is their way of having bargaining chips to negotiate with the US.on the missile matters.Venezuela provides much of the oil we import.I don't believe an embargo of that would be in our national interest. A note of interest here- Venezuela owns the Citgo oil company.They have major pipelines in the US that provide the northeastern US with heating fuel during the winter.The Citgo heating oil provides free oil for over a million New Yorkers that other wise could not afford it.Senator Joe Kennedy went to Hugo Chavez of venezuela for help when the major US oil companies refused to so.You may look these facts up if you choose to do so.Isn't it funny how there is nothing about this on any of the major networks, or newspapers?
