Science question! Sound and light!?
The thunder moves at the speed of sound, which is roughly 1100 feet per second. 4 seconds elapsed, so it is 4x1100 fps = 4400 ft away. If your textbook gives a different value for speed of sound use that number, multiplied by 4 seconds
