What will be impact on mankind if we stop space exploration, fundamental physics etc. ?
What will be impact on mankind if we stop space exploration, fundamental physics research (such as particle accelerator), palientology and other "fundamental" sciences ? Will it be worth rerouting those efforts to more application oriented sciences ?
