I'm redoing my entire bedroom in Black and white, But what color walls?

Okay. So I'm in my teen years. and decided I want my parents bedroom, So I'm making them swap with me haha. I'm redoing my bedroom in all white and Black furniture, I'm going boldly to the more sophisticated look. But I can't quite figure out what color walls. I was thinking maybe on the lines of a really pale green, or a pale purple. But give me some suggestions? Also, I will have my own bathroom now, Woo hoo! Haha, Still going toward the more sophisticated look. Still on the black and white theme. But this time I want a different color for my bathroom. So please help me. And thank you for your time. :)
